David Vukovich is the new Northeast Regional Sales Manager for LSI. Previously Vukovich worked for Acuity Brands Lighting as Eastern Region Specification Manager.

Jeffrey Augustine is no longer with Osram Display Optic and is seeking opportunities elsewhere. Augustine, a 20 year lighting industry sales veteran, has worked for Osram-Sylvania, Philips, and Heraeus. Augustine specializes in medical, scientific, and SSTV lighting sources such as xenon, HID, and LED's. Augustine has sold LED technology into the medical, aviation, and airfield markets. Cooper Lighting has promoted Ted Brickenden  to the position of Director of Architectural Exterior Products.

John Bagwell has joined the Lighting Controls team of Lithonia Lighting as Director-Synergy Controls.  Bagwell has more than 20 years experience in the lighting control marketplace. Prior to joining Lithonia Lighting, he was one of the founders of Triatek, which later became part of Automated Logic Corporation (a United Technologies company), and headed up their lighting control business.  Rich Westrick has accepted the position of Director-Embedded Controls. Westrick has been with Lithonia Lighting since 1997 and was most recently Director-Synergy Controls beginning in 2005.

 

After 40 plus years in the Lighting Business, Jim Pate is retiring. He has been employed with Hubbell for the past 29 years and  wanted everyone in the industry who he has met and worked with to know how much he has enjoyed our industry  He can be reached at J_R_Pate@comcast.net

It is with deep regret and sorrow that we learned of the death of our friend and colleague, Robert J. Anderson, who passed away on Tuesday, November 28th.

Michael D. Morin, formerly Central Sales Manager with WAC Lighting, has accepted a specification sales position with Architectural Lighting Associates in Dallas, Texas.

Rob Chassé joins the BEGA/US.   BEGA/US has added the position of Central Territory Manager to better serve their representatives in the 18 state region. 

Rob’s exceptional educational background includes the following achievements:  An A.S. in Engineering Science from The State University of New York, a B.S. in Architectural Engineering, Illumination Engineering emphasis from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

Bringing with him nearly twenty years of engineering and sales experience in the lighting industry, Rob has had the roles of Applications/Research and Development Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer and North East Regional Sales Manager. For the last 15 years, Rob has been a manufacturer’s representative in Minnesota and has represented BEGA/US for all of that time. 

Based out of the Twin Cities, where he lives with his wife Mary, daughter Melisse and son Charles, Rob will have ready access to the central territory.  When not promoting BEGA products, Rob enjoys fly fishing, hunting and skiing, as well as classic motor boating. 

With his strong lighting background, sales and marketing skill set and addictive enthusiasm, Rob is eager to get into his territory to continue marketing the BEGA/US product line and philosophy.  Please join us in welcoming Rob Chassé to the BEGA/US team
