Territory Sales Manager–Cree

Job Description

Cree is searching for a Lighting Territory Sales Manager to help initiate, develop and maintain relationships with buyers and consumers in today’s commercial/industrial market. The qualified candidate will be tasked with providing extensive training to customers and end users, resolving issues, forecasting and development of sales plans.

What can you do for Cree?

  • Assist to dramatically increase the sales projections of our lighting products within the region
  • Manage internal communication efforts between the sales team and internal support groups
  • Create and establish a detailed contact list, grading and roll out program for the region
  • Support the effort of vertical sales channels as needed

What you need for success:

  • 4 year college degree or certificate program
  • 5+ years of related sales/ marketing experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% or more
  • Must be within a commutable distance to the Chicago metro area

Highly preferred skills and certifications: 

  • Firm technical background
  • Relevant experience in the LED Lighting industry
