Senior Product Manager–Echelon

Echelon seeks an enthusiastic, energetic and proven Senior Product Manager to work with our Lighting customers and partners, business development and engineering teams to develop product concepts, oversee launch and life-cycle, and deliver world-class products. Responsibilities: 

  • Define ‘Smart Lighting’ vertical solutions and create Market Requirement Documents 
  • Full product level ownership
  • Convert business strategy into product strategy
  • Articulate product vision and value proposition
  • Create business case and go to market plans
  • Work with engineering on product delivery
  • Work with sales to drive adoption
  • Manage product life cycle
  • SaaS and recurring revenue development.
  • Own product launch and go-to-market for vertical.
  • External and internal thought leadership.
  • Drive Proof of Concepts to push forward new product initiatives.
  • Manage product level partnerships.
  • Participate in product team meetings to provide feedback on support related aspects in the product.

Competencies:

  • BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
  • 5-10 years in Software or Solutions Product Management.
  • High level of vision and independence.
  • Lighting Controls experience is highly desired.
  • Experience in the Building Automation and Industrial IoT markets is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the lighting supply chain process, or have similar experience within construction-specific distribution. 
  • General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design and solutions, distribution and construction processes. 
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and work in a fast pace environment. 
  • P&L ownership is a plus.
