Sales Manager–LumenArt

Sales Manager:          Based in Chicago

LumenArt Ltd. is a lighting manufacturer specializing in specification grade decorative products.

This position requires successful Regional or National Sales Manager experience in the lighting or architectural products industries.

Candidates should have the following skills and qualities:

  • Previous Regional or National Sales Management experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and autonomy.
  • Self starter.
  • Sales skills in commercial lighting or architectural products with proven ability to increase sales.
  • Hire, train and evaluate independent sales agencies.
  • Develop and solidify relationships specification community and sales agencies.
  • Prepare market analysis and develop product sales strategies.
  • Make sales calls to architects, lighting designers, interior designers, national accounts, end-users and engineers, involved with decorative lighting products.
  • Schedule and roll out new products and promotion programs.
  • Internally coordinate all special requests and projects.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the lighting industry or architectural product sales.
  • Proactive, anticipate market developments with regard to aesthetics and technology.
  • Excellent speaking, writing and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time.
