Company: Los Angeles Lighting Mfg. Co. is a leading designer and manufacturer of commercial, industrial, institutional and custom fluorescent and LED luminaires. Established in 1988, L.A. Lighting is primarily a regional manufacturer with national sales representation. L.A. Lighting is currently seeking an experienced lighting sales professional to manage our L.A. / O.C. sales team.
Summary: Oversee LA Lighting’s sales efforts within Los Angeles and Orange County. Hire, train and coordinate the L.A. / O.C. sales team. Be able to fluently explain and demonstrate L.A. Lighting’s fluorescent and LED luminaires to all levels of the customer base. Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues by servicing existing accounts as well as developing new opportunities at the distributor, contractor and end-user levels.
Experience: On-going relationships with lighting and electrical distributors, electrical contractors and end-users required. Should have experience managing sales personnel. Needs to have proven track record of closing sales and the ability to conduct energy audits. Must be able to lay out jobs and select the proper luminaires for specific applications.
