We are looking for Regional Sales Professionals in the southwest or western area with experience in the lighting industry who will handle outside sales while building a department. A professional with a proven record in working with independent reps. If you are a highly motivated, ambitious and directed sales leader, than this is the position for you. Our company is growing at an exponential rate. We have industry leading products, many proprietary and most outperform our competitor’s comparable products. We do not sell on “price” but usually go to market in a competitive position. 

We Offer

  • A position where you will have responsibility for the management of our sales in your area. This will include hiring, training, directing and evaluating of independent representatives, fostering, managing and growing relationships and business with direct national & key accounts and coordinating, preparing and implementing regional sales goals. You will also set and manage independent representatives annual goals, do sales call with agents as needed, generate sales forecasts based on pipeline activities and account insight and complete and submit required reports. You will be expected to attend and coordinate trade shows and present companies capabilities and solutions at these events
  • You will work directly with our Executive Vice President who is knowledgeable, expert at sales and who will give you the support you need to be successful and the independence to allow you to create a successful department.

We Expect

    1. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the lighting industry, a college degree (business, communication or engineering preferred), excellent written and verbal communications and solid computer skills. You must have 5 or more years successfully selling and managing sales including working with independent sales representatives. Excellent written and verbal communications including outstanding presentation skills, strong computer skills (a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and a demonstrated ability to work from a home office. A proven ability to take a project from concept to completion is a must.
    2. An intelligent, organized, detail oriented leader who has a strong self-image and is able to hold court with people at all levels. Someone gifted in conflict resolution. A person with high expectations who excels at mentoring, encouraging and motivating others. High energy, high motivation and innate credibility is a must.
