Regional Sales Managers (SE, MW, SO, WE regions)
SolarPath Sun Solutions is a rapidly growing Solar Powered Lighting Manufacturer based in New York.
We develop, manufacture and sell innovative grid-independent solar lighting systems in the local and international markets.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent customer relations skills and service awareness to be responsible for the following:
- Managing local sales region and catering to sales rep agencies.
- Handling phone and internet sales inquiries.
- Establishing and maintaining industry contacts to increase sales.
- Prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales in his/her region
- Developing and delivering effective sales presentations and closing sales in an effective manner.
- Accounts management, support and retention.
- Strengthen the relationship with Architects, Lighting Designers, and the Specification Community.
- Delivering high quality service to the customers.
- Setting appointments with customers and local reps to make product presentations and lunch presentations.
Required skill set includes:
- Experience and familiarity with the lighting industry
- Relationships with local lighting manufacturer’s rep agencies
- Extensive understanding of IES standards and implementation
- Ability to read site layout plans and photometric layouts
- Technical Competency - Able to assimilate new technology concepts quickly and comprehensively.
- Excellent Communication skills and relationship building skills - Should be at ease with ability to speak and present the technology at all levels, from engineering groups to company boardrooms, and carry out presentations to small and large audiences alike.
- Service oriented.
- 3+ years of successful sales and lighting industry experience
- Proven analytical skills in prospecting clients and understanding buying habits
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills
- Self driven and creative.
- Able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with customer management software
- Ability to travel
A plus:
- Experience with sustainable energy technologies
- Experience with working with municipalities.
