The flagship Lumenpulse brand requires an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join its growing team in the Southeast region. This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales professional who is looking to advance their career with an entrepreneurial and dynamic organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales - Eastern US, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting Lumenpulse branded products, and ensuring the achievement of sales goals and profit objectives in defined geographical territories within North America.  This position requires the Regional Sales Manager to reside within a major city in the Territory.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local manufacturer representatives to develop market within the assigned territory
  • Actively promote Lumenpulse brand products to local manufacturer representatives, ensuring that representatives are knowledgeable about the products and are actively pursuing opportunities
  • Ensure the distribution of information and materials to manufacturer representatives, and follow up with representatives in order to maximize sales opportunities
  • Evaluate and report sales activities within the territory
  • Evaluate and report on competition activity within the territory
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and employees at all levels
  • Conduct onsite mock-ups to demonstrate product capabilities
  • Manage special projects as requested by the Director of Sales Eastern region

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position with a lighting manufacturer

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Lighting experience preferred either working for a factory of Rep firm in Specification Sales
  • Lighting controls background preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Must be results-oriented
  • Possess strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Needs to be analytical
  • Should have a capacity for innovation and creativity
  • Demonstrates a sense of initiative and autonomy
  • Embraces change
  • Must combine strong interpersonal skills with drive and tenacity
  • Approximately 50-75% travel requirement
