Regional Sales Manager — Coronet, Inc

.Position:        East Coast Regional Sales Manager

Reports To:    Vice President of Sales

Coronet, Inc. is a rapidly growing, full service fluorescent and LED lighting company, specializing in architectural grade, energy efficient lighting.

With our new facilities and cutting edge technology, we are now able to design and manufacture custom fixtures.  Our lighting engineers specialize in developing a modern, comprehensive range of high quality architectural light fixtures.

This key role requires successful sales experience in the lighting industry and the ability to work independently, develop long term relationships and understand the meaning of world class customer experience. The successful candidate will have a history of dedicated attention to details and effective communications.

  • Prepare market analysis; develop sales strategies and tactics for the regions with the assistance of the VP of Sales.
  • Make sales calls to specifiers, architects, lighting designers, interior designers and engineers, involved with decorative and architectural grade products.
  • Heavily promote new products and seek new opportunities and applications.
  • Schedule and roll out new products and promotion programs.
  • Internally coordinate all special requests and projects.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, in a related field of study, MBA desirable.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in the lighting industry.
  • Outdoor / Indoor lighting experience would be an asset.
  • Proactive, anticipate market developments.  (Understands the future of the lighting industry.)
  • Excellent speaking, writing and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
