Brief Posting Description:

Looking for Regional Sales Managers in the following geographies: Northeast, Southeast, West, Midwest and Gulf Central

Expected Compensation: Salary from $50K – $100K plus incentive compensation based on performance

The Sales Associate is responsible for achieving inside sales revenue goals by obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction, and adding value to the customer’s buying experience.

Detailed Description

  • Actively support the company’s culture and business mission.
  • Promote current Above All Lighting products and introduce new products within the assigned territory.
  • Seek out and develop new customer relationships and strengthen customer base.
  • Execute strategic growth objectives throughout the assigned territory.
  • Provide assistance with sales forecasts & budgets for assigned territory.
  • Recruit, fire and train representatives throughout the assigned territory.
  • Work with field sales representatives in developing and expanding their business.
  • Manage field sales representatives with the objective of obtaining or exceeding territory sales goals and objectives.
  • Communicate with field sales representatives with regards to new product information, pricing policies, promotions and procedures.
  • Communicate with marketing department in regards to new products promotion.
  • Participate as a team player in the communication process with the Customer Experience team on a regular basis.
  • Other responsibilities or projects assigned by Vice President of Sales.

Experience/Requirements

  • 5 years’ prior sales representative management experience
  • Travel required up to 70% within territory
  • Strong lighting background
  • Strong outdoor lighting experience is preferred
  • National accounts experience preferred
  • Strong coaching & leadership skills to develop field sales team.
  • Solid organizational & planning skills utilizing Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills for relationship building with customers and coaching of team members.
  • Strategic sales planning skills.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Technical knowledge with lighting products, LED preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious sales goals.
  • Results focused goal driven initiator who adjusts priorities to meet business needs.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Work, Excel, PP and Outlook

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
