Regional Sales Director–Relume

Two opportunities are available. One position will serve the South-central USA (preferably Texas base) region and one will serve the Northeastern USA region.  Candidates must reside in these regions.  

JOB SUMMARY:   

Under direction of VP-Sales, primary responsibilities include managing the RVLT sellers (dealers, agents, Relume factory direct sellers, and distributors.  Assists Sales and Marketing teams in the creation of sales strategies and sales campaign to meet yearly company revenue goals.  Conducts scheduled training with Relume sellers to achieve sales performance goals.

EDUCATION / TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year college degree, Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or other industry related degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 5 years or more of lighting or lighting related experience as manufacturers rep, lighting agent, electrical distributor, or sales rep in the lighting industry. 
  • Possesses strong knowledge of LED technology, experience in managing and closing large lighting projects, and in implementation of sales penetration and tracking plans

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops  regional sales goals, including sales operating and tracking plans to measure direct sales results of Relume sellers
  • Communicate sales reporting to the Relume sellers
  • Holds monthly meeting with the sellers to review performance to sales plans.
  • Responsible for meeting project regional sales forecasts
  • Tracks regional sales goals monthly
  • Implements plans to improve sales processes
  • Facilitates training and large project support

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL TO JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to travel as required to meet job requirements (60% or more travel)
  • Outstanding speaking and presentation skills
  • Able to work extended hours as required
  • Physical ability to handle sales demo kits, demo fixtures, and meeting display and materials
