Hatch product lines include LED Drivers, Electronic HID Ballasts, Electronic Low Voltage Transformers, Electronic Fluorescent Ballasts, Magnetic Transformers and other specialty power electronics for commercial lighting. With the rise of LED lighting, Hatch is experiencing its fastest growth cycle in its 30-year history and is seeking energetic sales managers to support our rapidly expanding LED business.

Career Description

Hatch is seeking a highly experienced, entrepreneurial sales professional to grow and manage regional OEM sales to lighting fixture manufacturers in the Midwestern United States, primarily through the sale of our rapidly growing line of advanced LED drivers. In this position you will be responsible for supporting current Hatch OEM customers as well as aggressively seeking out and developing new accounts within the region. Hatch is well known for providing an extremely high level of customer service and the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and deep existing relationships within the lighting industry.

Reports To: Director of Business Development

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a plan to aggressively grow regional OEM sales
  • Manage, support and grow existing Hatch OEM customer accounts
  • Develop and grow relationships with key industry partners in the lighting industry
  • Assist in the implementation and development of internal sales and marketing programs
  • Gather and share competitive product and market data
  • Continually update Salesforce CRM with key customer and opportunity information
  • Represent Hatch at both national and regional tradeshows and conferences
  • Maintain a regional expense budget and deliver weekly expense reports
  • Manage and support regional OEM sales agents

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited 4-year university- Engineering degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience managing technical OEM sales in the lighting industry
  • Experience selling electronic power supplies including LED Drivers strongly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the U.S. OEM lighting fixture marketplace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Technical expertise in commercial LED lighting systems
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the year
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM strongly preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Residence within a major Midwestern city in close proximity to an international airport

Compensation and Benefits

Highly competitive base salary commensurate with experience and an aggressive sales incentive growth compensation package. Other benefits include an automotive allowance, health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, retirement plan and life insurance. Hatch also provides full reimbursement for all company approved business and travel related expenses.
