Lumascape is currently seeking a motivated, tech savvy expert with a strong desire to master LED lighting technology. This role is the ‘go to’ for sales support and technical assistance for our Agency Partners and Specification Customers across the Americas. A working knowledge of the NEC would further enhance your ability to answer questions from electrical contractors calling from the job site. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability and desire to attain a complete understanding of all Lumascape products, services and modes of operation, and be comfortable speaking with lighting designers, electrical engineers, installers, distributors and end users.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for factory Regional Sales Managers;

• Approve all orders for technical and pricing accuracy prior to entry;

• Handle customer inquiries including product recommendations and suggested BOMs, pricing, etc;

• Provide technical support, pricing, submittal drawings and handle web generated RFIs.

• Agency Partner support with regular and consistent communication with their outside and inside sales people;

• Following up on quoted projects;

• Manage product sample requests and sample inventory;

• Go through mailing list data to identify new high potential accounts;

• Follow up on sales leads;

• Fully utilize and maintain an up-to-date summary of activities in the CRM database, including calendar, sales pipeline, account profile and day-to-day sales contact activities;

• Manage product launches through communication to customers and sales reps in order to ensure that information is correctly transmitted to our partners;

• Effectively communicate price changes, special promotions and other information to agency partners nationwide;

Knowledge & Experience

Education: Degree or equivalent experience in electrical, engineering or construction related field.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience is desired in an electrical/electronics related field.

Competence/Skill Sets

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; 

• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to drive resolution.
