Purchasing Manager
Coronet Inc. located in Paterson NJ has an opportunity for a Purchasing Manager who will be reporting into the COO
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain business relationships with suppliers
- Generate and place purchasing orders
- Track inventory on a daily basis
- Negotiate with venders
- Secure price, availability, and lead time for customer specified materials
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Understanding of LED and/or Driver Subject
- Project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Knowledge in LED technology & binning application is desirable
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in sourcing and selecting parts and components
- Attention to detail
- Ability to make procurement decisions based on demand, unit pricing, inventory management and lead time
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Required experience:
- 5+ years’ experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
