Product Manager – Interior Lighting
Intense Lighting is seeking a passionate Product Manager for our interior product lines that includes downlights and track lighting. Working along the side of the Marketing Director and Engineering Director, responsibilities include management of all indoor products including new and existing products lines. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 5-years product management experience within the lighting industry. Applicants will not be considered if they do not meet this criteria.
Responsibilities include:
- Ultimately responsible for all aspects within product category, from conception through development. Analyze key strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the indoor product line.
- Lead overall product line strategy within the interior space. Responsible for product line vitality and multi-generational product development.
- Responsible for competitive analysis, target pricing and gross margin analysis of product category.
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to track progress of new product development. Establish development timelines and milestones. Oversee toll-gate meetings to ensure timeline goals are meet.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to develop benchmarks for new product lines.
- Provide Marketing direction for specification sheets and other collateral including literature, catalogs, packaging, sample cases, tradeshow displays, etc.
- Participate in the coordination of trade shows, product presentations and sales meetings. Responsible for internal and external product training.
- Provide information and support to sales and customer service on products as needed.
- Lead dynamic, cross-functional teams to meet internal product line commitments and customer expectations in the marketplace
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 Years of Product Management and/or Marketing Leadership Experience
- Preferable experience includes Product Management of Downlights and/or Track Lighting in the architectural lighting space.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing.
- Self motivated individual to work in a fast paced environment
