Halco Lighting Technologies, on of the fastest growing lighting suppliers, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for its fixtures product line. This position will include but not limited to:
- Management of the product lifecycle;
- Determine appropriate products for expansion of the line and identification of products to be removed from the line;
- Determine potential sources for assigned products and provide analysis and recommendations to Director of Product Development;
- Participate in the development of marketing materials supporting both sales and education efforts related to assigned categories;
- Provide sales support on technical issues, as well as act in a technical sales role as needed;
- Monitor inventory level on assigned products and provide input as to recommended inventory levels to ensure continued supply;
- Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of the competitive landscape; additionally, using this understanding to provide competitive intelligence to sales;
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; MBA a plus
- Minimum (5) years product management experience in commercial lighting required (specifically outdoor/commercial/industrial fixtures)
- Knowledge and experience in commercial lighting required
- Knowledge and experience in LED strongly preferred
