ENGINEER – PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MECHANICAL DESIGN, PMC Lighting, located in Warwick, RI is looking for an experienced mechanical product design engineer who has worked in the lighting industry, to join our engineering team and focus on the development of new and innovative products for the commercial lighting market.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years’ engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required. The ideal candidate will have experience in fluorescent and LED lighting, Autodesk Inventor CAD software, MRP with BOMs, Routings and Item Masters, and an understanding of manufacturing processes and materials such as extruded aluminum, sheet metal bending, design for die cast components and a working understanding of UL-1598 and UL-8750.
