Pricing Manager
Halco Lighting Technologies, a nationwide lamp and ballast manufacturer is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager. Halco is headquartered in Norcross, GA with 50+ employees and multiple warehouse locations throughout the U.S.
The Pricing Manager will report to the Director of Product Development and will be responsible for working with the sales and product development teams to develop pricing strategy. This position will be directly responsible for pricing implementation, generating competitive analyses and strengthening overall product margin through day-to-day pricing decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis and support pricing initiatives and process changes to ensure consistency of company pricing practices
- Timely preparation of responses to Price Quotation requests from sales management/customer service
- Maintain and control all customer contracts in the ERP system
- Review and evaluate price variance requests from sales staff
- Formulate and communicate competitive analyses and current trends
- Play a key role in defining new business processes
- Price discrepancy resolution
- Analyze low margin customers and look for opportunities to improve profitability
- Evaluate and implement price changes required when cost of goods fluctuate
- Develop detailed reports on cost/price analysis, including recommending price adjustments
- Serve as key advisor, working with other managers on cost and price problems and issues
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Lamp & Ballast Market
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales and/or pricing management
- Expertise in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Sense of urgency and team focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while setting priorities
- Strong organizational skills
