Mechanical Engineer

Intense Lighting, an architectural lighting manufacturer is seeking to fill a Mechanical Engineer position at its company headquarters in Anaheim, CA. This position requires active involvement with engineering, the sales team, production, purchasing, vendors and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Adapt existing products to the needs of the customer
- Design and produce 3D models and drawings for prototyping and fabrication
- Direct communication with vendors during fabrication
- Creating bill of materials
- Work with purchasing on obtaining components
- Provide assistance to production during time of assembly
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3-5 years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- LED Lighting design experience a plus.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Solidworks.
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and stay positive.
- Analytical problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with UL Standards a plus.
- Great Plains experience a plus.
