We're looking for an intelligent, motivated, multi-tasking, fun-loving, entrepreneurial, and highly-adaptable person who will be directly responsible for engineering and research support.
What will this person do?
Various laboratory based engineering and research related activities, including:
- Support existing research and design engineers with technical/design tasks
- Assistance bringing new products to market
- Product design and development support
- LED technology research
- Whatever else is necessary to ensure the success of the team - after all, we are a startup!
Successful applicant must:
- Have a BSAE, MSAE (or equivalent) with lighting/electrical concentration
- Have “real world” lighting experience
- Be well educated in LED technology, preferably also with the electrical/electronics associated with it
- Have good understanding of laboratory setting and working with lighting/electrical/electronics equipment
- Work out of our Fairfield County, CT offices, but be willing to travel overseas to manufacturing facilities
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be a proven team-player
- Be excited to work hard in an intense start-up environment
- Self-manage and potentially manage others
- Be able to readily adapt as the company grows
- Contribute to the fun, productive and energizing atmosphere of a startup company!
