POSITION: LIGHTING CONTROLS FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER

Lumenetix designs and builds color tunable and dynamic dimming LED modules for sales to fixture manufacturers around the world. Our light engines emulate the range and quality of daylight from a single light source or replicate the natural dimming profiles of halogen bulbs – all at industry leading quality levels. To help us mange our customer growth, we seek a Lighting Controls Field Application Engineer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Experience in installing, configuring and debugging lighting and A/V systems.
- Knowledge of lighting control standards such as Lutron Ecosystem, DMX, DALI., as well as Crestron, Vantage, Leviton and ETC
- Able to work with and generate schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
- Travel to major installations to assist bring-up and debug problems as necessary.
- Direct graphics designers to generate installation and specification documents
- Coordinate build of samples and custom lighting fixtures
- Provide application assistance to customers and sales force on lighting controls.
- Interface with engineers to understand technical details of products
- Proficient in MS office and web-based tools.
- Knowledge of LED lighting and lighting design a plus
- Salesforce.com experience a plus
