Ligman Lighting – International Product Manager (Based in USA)
Ligman Lighting is a respected International Lighting Manufacturer that has world wide representation. Ligman manufactures and supplies top quality Outdoor Luminaires in all continents.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill the job portfolio of International Product manager.
The position will involve extensive international travelling for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
•Learn the details of how each region goes to market.
•Identify key players within each market.
•Provide sales support to improve awareness of Factory manufacturing quality and product capabilities.
•Learn the regional offices market approach and identify places in which assistance in sales, technical support, and factory support can help grow sales.
• Work as the liaison between corporate and the local sales offices in identifying the challenges and tools needed to provide growth within these markets.
•Provide customer and market feedback to help in the implementation and development of new products.
•Work closely with regional offices, project managers, clients, and corporate to insure project and customer requirements are met on a timely basis.
•Support global agents with technical, sales, and marketing information.
•Attend international trade shows.
•Develop relationships with key players to assist in closing deals.
•Act as the company liaison with high performing regional offices.
•Establishing relationships with the Ligman Team, Provide support and assist them in determining solutions to improve market growth.
•Contribute to the development of Ligman Lighting by inputting information learned in the field on market trends and potential areas of growth within upper management meetings.
•Provide input and support in the design and implementation of marketing material and new product launches.
•Working with key Architects and Lighting designers and in conjunction with Ligman’s International branches, Identify and manage new projects providing support and management of product selection and specification from design concept to project completion.
Requirements, Experience and Training Required:
Must be prepared to spend extended time away from home living and working in various countries.
Must have valid Passport with no travel restrictions.
Must be a self starter, motivated and passionate about Lighting and achieving goals.
Solid technical background in lighting
4-6 Years in Lighting Sales.
Must have experience in Outdoor Lighting.
Well developed communication, organizational, motivational and human relations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with IESNA guidelines and Lighting Design best practices
Salary : Negotiable based on experience.
