JOB DESCRIPTION
JLC-Tech is seeking an experienced and professional person to join our team in the Inside Sales department. Duties include reviewing technical specifications, quoting projects, project tracking and assisting to turn inquiries into orders. May actively solicit new sales and/or follow through on pending quotes to secure orders. Support and build relationships with outside sales people, local agencies, architects and lighting designers. Provide technical guidance and warranty support to our current and prospective clients. Support our Marketing, Sales Manager and network of Sales Agents in the field in the ongoing development of existing and prospective JLC-Tech customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A degree from a four-year College or technical school and at least 2 years experience in the LIGHTING INDUSTRY are preferred as well as some knowledge of drop ceilings for commercial applications. Excellent project management skills and the capacity to learn new concepts quickly are a must. In addition well-developed communication and inter-personal skills are required.
