District Sales Manager–RAB Lighting

DISTRICT SALES MANAGER NORTHWEST REGION

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

RAB Lighting has a career opportunity for a District sales Manager in our Pacific Northwest Region.

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for the attainment of district and corporate goals, sales growth and profitability through market development while providing superior service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Regional VP to develop and recommend annual sales plan and forecast for individual manufacturer’s representatives and his/her region.
  • Collect, compile and analyze pertinent information in to establish goals for the market and region.
  • Coordinate with manufacturer representatives, distributors, etc., to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships with current and potential customers.
  • Call on key end users and contractors with without agents to promote the company into progressive markets.
  • Provide appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product and lighting applications.
  • Responsible for ensuring reps, distributors and contractors are trained and using the company’s Application Tools

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of lighting or electrical sales experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or Marketing.
  • Sales experience in lighting industry.
  • Sales experience managing Manufacturer’s Representatives.

Location preferable: Seattle or Portland area

Travel in Northwest Region including; Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana

Travel Required Up to 75 %
