SUMMARY:

Manage a small office of engineers, customer and technical support, quality assurance and production associates. Assure sales growth, customer retention, and profitable transactions and deliver service as a competitive advantage for LSI Industries.

Develop and oversee customer service market team for LSI Controls, Beaverton, OR. Guide and train the CSR’s on all order related processes including project take-offs, quotes, controls submittals and occupancy sensor layouts. Determine specific processes and procedures regarding the entry and editing of orders, order management activities and telephone / e-mail communication. Develop and document continuous improvement activities that produce increased value, productivity and accuracy. Coordinate all processes uniformly among all associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Experience in Lean Management principles.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Visual Management Systems for Quotes, Submittals, Project Issues and Sensor Layouts.
  • Manage flow of work from project takeoff, quote, submittal, order entry and post-sales support. Implement continuous improvement to add value and eliminate waste in all processes.
  • Coordinate with LSI Lighting sales channel.
  • Provide monthly business update to President of Technology.
  • Proficient leader of all CSR and CSR Lead related activities as documented in CSR, CSR Lead, CS RMA Coordinator and Freight Claims processor Job Descriptions.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for senor layouts and controls submittals.
  • Provide CSR related process documentation and training.
  • Assure consistency among all associates in process methods. Continuously drive process, value, productivity and customer-experience improvements.
  • Act as Lead training coordinator for LSI Controls Market Group.
  • Primary contact for Accounting and Manufacturing correspondence and issue resolution.
  • Review and approve RMAs, credits, sales rebills, and commission adjustments.
  • Be proficient as One World Power User.
  • Act as primary contact for One World issues reporting and modification requests.
  • Conduct performance appraisal for direct reports.
  • Manage assembly of control panels.
  • Maintain inventory by managing periodic cycle counts; & annual inventory counts.
  • Some travel (5-10%) required to assist sales channels and coordinate with LSI Controls personnel in Cincinnati, OH and Columbus, OH or visit job sites.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

B.S. in Business from four-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
