Description
The Future Energy Solutions (FES) team is seeking a proven Business Development professional to serve in the role of Commercial Development Specialist (CDS). The CDS will be responsible for new business development, sales and growth of our Gold Initiative Program across the US Markets.
The successful candidate will work with the engineers, project managers, alliances team(s) and the business unit to formulate an overall strategy and plan to grow the product/solutions business to include understanding market trends, building strategic partnerships and identifying contract vehicles to help expand our footprint and scale across the market segment. You must be able to quickly and accurately qualify sufficient business prospects to meet both near term and long term opportunities, shape requirements, deliver compelling presentations, and coordinate between multiple internal teams to close business. Must be able to persuasively articulate key differentiators and advantages of the Gold Initiative Program to business owners and C level executives.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, a strategic thinker and will have a very strong combination of new business development, solution selling skills, leadership, teamwork, excellent oral and written communication skills. Collaborative skills both inside and outside of FES are critical to winning clients.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: A minimum of 10-yrs of successful sales and business development. Demonstrated expertise in selling technical solutions to owners and senior business decision makers. Proven track record of effective pipeline management and achieving/exceeding sales goals. Resourceful problem solver, leveraging internal and partner resources where and when needed. Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, and a strong sales/marketing presence. Must be able to clearly and eloquently present ideas to senior management. Must be experienced briefing senior executive clients and corporate officers. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree. Strong, documented track record of achievement. Knowledge of lighting principles a plus.
