Business Development Manager – Encelium (California/Las Vegas)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Encelium sales development and results in the assigned region
- Develop a sales plan to deliver agreed targets, delivering bottom line results and agreed margin.
- Make sales calls to develop and maintain business relationships
- Analyze and act on business opportunities to promote the Encelium business
- Provide value added solutions to customers by working collaboratively with other organizational resources
- Understand and keep abreast of all trends and market requirements
- Spend 80% of time out of the office in face to face meetings. Travel is a key part of the job and overnight stays may be required
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors Degree Required, MBA a plus, and a minimum of 3 years experience within the lighting control industry preferred
- Minimum 5 years sales experience with emphasis in technology and sustainability
- Relationship building skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills including fluent use of Microsoft office suite, CRM and custom software applications
- LEED accredited, LC and/or PE considered a plus
- Ideal candidate shall be highly motivated, possess creative problem solving skills and can demonstrate a proven track record of success in previous employment
