EXCLUSIVE: Must Credit EdisonReport. EdisonReport has learned that Schreder plans to exit General Lighting in U.S., and most U.S. employees were laid off earlier this week. We have learned that they plan to stay in the Smart Cities business. Schreder is based in Belgium. The website shows the US HQ in Oak Brook, IL, but believe they moved their offices to Texas earlier this year.
According to Linked In, Darren Cox is the Chief Regional Officer for Schreder SA and we are told that he will remain with the company.
