SATCO, Maxlite and Topaz State Lunera Lighting Lawsuit Without Merit

Brentwood, NY, April 30, 2015, Lunera Lighting Inc. issued  a press release claiming to have filed a lawsuit naming seven defendants, including SATCO Products, Inc., Maxlite and Topaz Lighting

Corporation. Based on available information, the lawsuit appears baseless. SATCO, Maxlite and Topaz are aware of allegations made by Lunera directly to the industry, including allegations that a ballast- compatible plug-in LED lamp is not in compliance with UL. The referenced LED lamp product is UL listed. All allegations to the contrary are completely without support. The three companies believe these allegations to be without merit and intend to disprove them.
