EdisonReport was notified today of changes occurring at the Kim Lighting facility. We contacted Hubbell Lighting and received the following response:
Hubbell Lighting’s Kim and AAL product lines remain strong and vibrant parts of our portfolio and our long standing presence in Southern California will remain and expand. All of our customer facing Service, Support, Product Development, Sale and Marketing resources remain in place with additional investments planned.
- As a part of an ongoing review of our service and manufacturing capabilities, we continually evaluate the most effective and efficient supply chain methodologies for our customers and adapt accordingly in an effort to provide best in class quality, service and value. We move products continually as necessary to meet the needs of the marketplace. This process has been ongoing and we expect it to continue.
- Hubbell Lighting’s commitment to the West Coast, Southern California and Lighting Education will be expanded further with a introduction of a new showroom and educational center in 2016.
