June 5, 2008
Two significant growth opportunities for the Supply Division lie in our continued growth with Exceline along with sales opportunities being driven by the energy conservation movement. To take advantage of these opportunities I am pleased to announce the following promotions, effective July 1, 2008.
Bill McShane:
Business Unit Manager, Sustainable Lighting Division
Bill will head a new Division within our group known as the Sustainable Lighting Division. Bill’s mission will be to broaden our product offering of energy conservation products and to define the target account base and distribution channels needed to properly service energy conscious end users. Bill’s background with Crescent, Stonco and Exceline and prior construction project management experience make him perfectly suited for this exciting new challenge.
Under Bill’s direction, Exceline has experienced some healthy growth over these past 18 months and for that we would like to express our appreciation and wish him the best of luck in his new assignment. Please use Bill as a valuable resource to help find and close energy opportunities for the Lightolier and Crescent/Stonco Sales Team.
Bill will continue to report directly to me in his new role.
Barret Gorman, National
Sales Manager, Exceline
Effective July 1st, Barret Gorman will assume the role of National Sales Manager, Exceline. Over the past 3 years, Barret has represented the Crescent and Stonco brands as Eastern Regional Sales Manager. Prior to joining Genlyte, Barret worked for the lamp Division of General Electric in various sales and marketing positions with both independent rep firms as well as a factory direct sales force. Barret brings some solid industry experiences and relationships and coupled with his engaging personality and solid communication skills will continue the pattern of growth for Exceline.
Barret and his wife, Tracy, along with their three children, Ashlie, Cameron and Jack currently reside in Eastern Pennsylvania. Barret’s office will be in Union, NJ.
Barret will report directly to me. We wish him the very best success in this new opportunity.
Sincerely,
Chuck Havers
President, Crescent/Stonco/Exceline
