
W.A.C. Lighting Spearheads Relief Efforts For Earthquake
Victims in China

City, New York—W.A.C. Lighting Vice President and Co-Founder Tai Wang is
spearheading relief efforts to help earthquake victims in western China. W.A.C. Lighting is a leading manufacturer of
track, recessed, undercabinet, decorative and monorail lighting.
“Our company and its employees are coming together to raise funds
to help earthquake victims throughout China,” explained Mrs. Wang.
“Additionally, we are working closely with The Flushing Chinese Business
Association of Queens to consolidate our efforts.”
W.A.C. Lighting,
which recently opened a state of the art manufacturing facilities in southern
China, employs 42 people from the earthquake zone, seven of who lost their
family homes there.
Along with the other members of
The Flushing Chinese Business Association of Flushing, Queens in New York City,
the firm has helped to raise nearly $250,000 for quake relief.
W.A.C. Lighting and the FCBA plan to
give the money to the Red Cross.
"The Red Cross is well-known and trusted in China,” Mrs. Wang
explains. “The Red Cross Society of China
was the first responder after the earthquake, arriving even before the army.
W.A.C. Lighting has provided relief
after other disasters, including The 9-11 Attacks, Hurricane Katrina, the 921
Taiwan Earthquake, and the Tsunami.
