From J.F. Simard, President and General Manager, Lumec Inc.

Robert James Anderson

March 16, 1962 – November 28, 2006

It is with deep regret and sorrow that we learned of the death of our friend and colleague, Robert J. Anderson, who passed away on Tuesday, November 28th.

He leaves behind his three beloved daughters Candace, Carrisa, and Courtney, his parents Kerin and Gerald, his brother Jerry and his sister Cary, as well as the numerous and loyal friends he made during his 14 years of employment at Lumec.

Rob held the position of US Sales Manager at Lumec. He was a gentleman and he will be remembered by all of us for his determination, his courage, and his ability to make friends. Rob lived our values, he was a team player and he dared join Lumec and carry our brand flag in the early days when Lumec was hardly known in the United States of America. Tough on the issue but soft on his people, Rob developed a significant business while making friends with each of the people he touched.

Rob will be remembered every night when the lighting in our communities turns on, bringing joy and intensity to the many as he did for all of us during the 14 years he was with us.

Also, the following text was given out by the family at the funeral:

AFTERGLOW:

I’d like the memory of me to be a

Happy one,

I’d like to leave an afterglow of

Smiles when day is gone.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering

Softly down the ways,

Of happy times, and laughing times.,

And bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who

Grieve to dry before the sun,

Of happy memories that I leave

When life is done.
