
QUOTATION / CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
General
Statement of Responsibilities:
Based in South Florida, Beghelli leads
the life safety, energy savings and lighting industry in technology, innovation
and service. We are currently seeking A Quotation / Customer
Service Specialist for our Miramar
location. This position is the primary
contact point for the customer into Beghelli, Inc. and as such is the primary
basis of that customer's perception of the company. It is an essential role and
has a critical responsibility for achieving our corporate goal of being the
customer's supplier of choice. The position works with the Product Specialists
and as their back-up support to ensure successful delivery of customer
agreements and with each customer order. This position reports directly to the
Customer Service Supervisor with a dotted line responsibility to the National
Sales Manager. Working closely with our network of Representative Partners and
Distributors, the Customer Service Specialist will build strong working
relationships with both Customers and inter-company departments.
The job encompasses: researching/processing customer orders,
responding to customer inquiries about product pricing, availability, scheduled
deliveries, and serving as an important source of customer and product
information for Beghelli Product Specialists and Purchasing. This position
interacts with all departments within the company including all levels of sales
personnel, management, operations, accounting, technical service and marketing
support.
Duties
include but are not limited to:
- Answer and resolve all customer calls and e-mails as they relate to
standard and custom orders.
- Receive orders via email, fax, or phone to verify accuracy prior to
data entry.
- Receive, record, and process all customer complaints relating to
order fulfillment, product performance, and billing errors using
documented processes.
- Review daily all open orders and communicate to the customer or
appropriate Product Specialists when modifications to the customer orders
or requests are required.
- Check customer orders against available inventory and expected ship
date, communicating status to customer in a timely manner.
- Process and track all sample, quotation and product information
requests
- Oversight and management
of open sales orders and direct ship purchase orders to ensure timely
responses and delivery.
- Actively
participate in the promotions and sales of Beghelli products.
- Provide excellent
customer service and follow-up to assigned Representative partners.
- Assist in
expediting orders.
- Uphold and follow
all company policies.
- Other projects as
directed by the Customer Service
Educational
and experience skills:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Customer Service/Order
fulfillment in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
- Associate Degree in a business related or technical major, or
equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
- Technical Lighting or electrical
experience preferred.
- Ability to converse effectively with
all customers via phone and email with a courteous, friendly attitude.
- Keen attention to details, ambitious
and goal oriented.
- Excellent time management and
organizational skills.
- Ability to follow Customer Service
protocols and procedures.
- Working knowledge of computer operation
and data entry
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Basic problem solving skills
- Essential math skills including the ability to calculate discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
- Basic skills in MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook. Able to navigate on the Internet.
