Regional Sales Manager
Lumificient Corporation, a Nexxus Lighting Company,
is a designer and manufacturer of superior LED illumination products used in
the Signage Industry and in the Commercial and Residential markets.
Lumificient is experiencing rapid growth having achieved a growth rate above
125% in 2008.
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales
Manager/Sales who will be directly responsible for all aspects of business
development and sales for the Southwest Region in the United States. We
are seeking an individual that will be a hunter and closer, who also will be
committed to developing the overall territory with long term customer
relationship development in mind.
Responsibilities include direct sales of our
leading Sign Illumination system to the Sign Industry. This involves
territory planning, development of territory targets, direct sales calls
through appointment attainment and cold calling, presenting our LED
illumination system to prospects and customers including to owners, shop
installation personnel, and client sales resources. You must be able to
close business and service account by providing training on products and
support in troubleshooting. Candidate familiarity with Sign Industry,
projects involving signage, LED illumination or other lighting, will be a big
plus.
Our chosen candidate must be proficient in
sales methodology, understanding the numbers game side of sales, while also
being proficient at cold calling, appointment attainment, sales presentation,
handling objections, sales process, differentiating products and services, and
demonstrate proven success ability to close business and in developing
territories.
Candidate will also be responsible for driving
Lumificient products into the Commercial and Residential lighting markets, as a
liaison to Nexxus Lighting’s Manufactures Representative network that focus on
Commercial lighting markets, and through Residential markets based upon
candidates own direct sales efforts. Lumificient also provides some OEM
custom LED solutions to manufacturers, and candidate must be comfortable
selling in broad range of settings from small sign companies to large
corporations.
Chosen candidate will have a bachelors
degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Candidate must: be
willing to travel extensively (up to 80%), be willing and able to productively
work from home office, be driven to attain results every day, be proficient in
use of computer including Microsoft office products suite.
Previous experience in the LED signage industry
preferred.
